Looking for more vintage / 60's and 70's music magazines? Check out my other items!
A lot of excellent magazines were published back in the heyday of Beatlemania, devoted entirely to the group and featuring photos and text that are now rare and hard to find. These specialty magazines are now historical artifacts and allow us to time-travel back to the 60's and experience the impact that The Beatles had at the time. It's so great to see these early photos of the group, some of which have not appeared anywhere else and have been lost to the mists of time.
This is an opportunity to acquire "The Beatles On Broadway". It has a glossy, heavy paper cover and features some great text , with words and pictures compiled by Sam Leach (the Liverpudlian who had promoted many of their earliest Liverpool appearances).
Comprised of 32 pages, this was published in the U.S. in 1964 by Whitman Publishing.
This covers their arrival in New York, walk in Central Park, Visit to the Peppermint Lounge, appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, trips to Miami and Washington D.C., concert at Carnegie Hall and more. Amazing Carnegie Hall photo clearly shows fans seated in the extra seating arranged ON STAGE!!! ON STAGE!!!!!
This one will take you right back to the heyday of Beatlemania. Treat yourself to this tremendous magazine. You will not be disappointed
