Welcome fans and collectors of The Beatles - George Harrison, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Ringo Starr.
A lot of excellent magazines were published back in the heyday of Beatlemania, devoted entirely to the group and featuring photos and text that are now rare and hard to find. These specialty magazines are now historical artifacts and allow us to time-travel back to the 60's and experience the impact that The Beatles had at the time. It's so great to see these early photos of the group, some of which have not appeared anywhere else and have been lost to the mists of time.
This is an opportunity to acquire the “Original Beatles Book Two” magazine, published in the U.S. in 1964, at the height of Beatlemania, and comprised of 72 pages, solely devoted to The Beatles.
It is loaded with tremendous photos, many seldom-if-ever seen outside these pages. Included in this one are the Beatle girls - Jane Asher, Pattie Boyd and Cynthia Lennon, plus a rare, great photo of Paul with then road manager Neil Aspinall. It also features great text by Earl Leaf, who writes in the foreword, "This book follows The Beatles from the cradle to Carnegie Hall and pursues them into the bright shining future...It digs deeper into their individual and group histories than any other publication...The book offers you no phony-baloney insider information, double whammy lies or flaky-fake interviews with The Beatles as some shoddy magazines do...Our Beatles quotes are genuine and all our info comes from authentic sources...Book Two brings the story of The Beatles up to the brink of their second historic invasion of the North American continent and takes a long hard look-see at other combos now busting loose on the charts..."
This magazine truly stands as an amazing artifact from the heady days of Beatlemania. I know true fans will be delighted with this one. The text is great and the variety of photos is impressive. Treat yourself to this great Beatles experience. You will not be disappointed!
