Looking for more vintage / 60's and 70's music magazines? Check out my other items!
A lot of excellent magazines were published back in the heyday of Beatlemania, devoted entirely to the group and featuring photos and text that are now rare and hard to find. These specialty magazines are now historical artifacts and allow us to time-travel back to the 60's and experience the impact that The Beatles had at the time. It's so great to see these early photos of the group, some of which have not appeared anywhere else and have been lost to the mists of time.
This one is entitled "The Beatles Picture For Framing", and it is truly a cut above most of the Beatle magazines of the era.
This features gorgeous, quality photographs by Norman Parkinson which stand as true works of art. Along with these classic, seldom seen photos is text by Maureen Cleave, the Evening Standard journalist who later published John's "More popular than Jesus" remarks. 32 pages of early, rare and remarkable photos and great text. Treat yourself to this Beatles experience. You will not be disappointed!.
CONDITION: This magazine is in Very Good Plus condition, complete and intact with no cutouts or missing pages. There is some normal typical wear as one might expect of a 50 year old magazine of this vintage including crease at bottom right cover corner plus corner, cover and edge wear as can be seen in the photos ( see photos ).
